My dear Tom
I was sorry to hear from Anne that your sister was in Mount Carmel Hospital - Such a difficult place to get to - Quite apart from your anxiety about her.
Miss Janson wrote to me & I have arranged with her to come here & collect the O'Casey material she wants [p.1 verso] next Thursday. I told her I am rather laid up with lumbago & this is the first day I can manage. She seems a nice person - judging by her letter —
