Abstract
MacGreevy has
heard from others that Yeats is in
Cannes and that WB is
unwell and offers to come and visit at Christmas if it would help. He has
'innumerable pupils' and has recently had to have some dental work done. He
spends a lot of time with 'Anglicists' [??] and is writing little, although he
anticipates publishing them with Hogarth Press and has
finished translating La Chartreuse de Parme. He recommends
WB read the 1922 Cres edition. Dolly has begun working in Harry Clarke's glass works, leading MacGreevy to wonder about 'the stained
glass spinsters of Dublin.' MacGreevy thinks [artistic education ?]
she would be better off in Paris.
