29th September, 1927.

Dearest George

I expect to cross over by the day boat on Saturday arriving I suppose about 6 as usual. I hope it will be all right for you to take me in — if its anyway inconvenient I count on you to tell me. I expect to stay in Dublin till Wednesday morning when I go home for a week.

I look forward to seeing you all.

Love ever,

Tom.

Midsummer was still going strong a mile the station side of Modane but from Modane here it has been arctic.
